Here we go!

Here we go! We’re out of beta, and The Breastfeeding Experience is ready to be your place to learn about breastfeeding and share your own stories. To get us started, we’ve got ten amazing stories from some amazing moms:

Our mother’s day entry, a beautiful tribute to breastfeeding and maternal love. Sometimes you don’t understand it until you’re a mother yourself.

Cloud went back to work quite early, and mastered the art of pumping. It comes down to scheduling and lots of spare parts.

Erin talks about how she helped other mothers and babies by donating her oversupply to a mothers milk bank.

Meg was allergic to lanolin, which nearly derailed her nursing until she figured out exactly her breasts were all red and swollen.

Redhead says, “Look mom, I’m Breastfeeding!”

Having a support system in place made all the difference for this mom.

Christy had two very different breastfeeding experiences with two very different babies. It’s a long entry, and a fascinating story of a very stubborn lady.

Christina wrote about being unable to breastfeed, and how that made her feel.

Amanda had a hard time getting started. A very hard time; her son lost weight and turned yellow. With a supportive doctor and timely assistance from her best friend, she was able to breastfeed anyway.

And, lastly, I shared my own story of pumping in weird places with skuzzy equipment.
